Black Mountain, NC  -  The Bryan College Softball team traveled to North Carolina to take on Montreat College in a doubleheader at 4:00 and 6:00 PM. For game 1, Bryan was the first on the board after Lily Taylor stole 2nd and Katie Dinger stole home. Montreat scored in the bottom half of the inning to tie things up at 1. In the bottom of the 2nd inning Montreat scored 3 runs to put them ahead 4-1. Bryan would score in the 3rd inning with a double from Aubree Presley that scored Lily Taylor and Stephanie Blevins. Carli LaRcoque singled advancing Haley Stahl to 2nd, Breanna Bumgardner to 3rd and scoring Aubree Presley. Ariel Holt was hit by a pitch advancing Carli LaRocque to 2nd, Haley Stahl to 3rd and sending Breanna Bumgardner home. Katie Dinger reached on a fielder's choice scoring Carli LaRocque. The Lady Lions led going into the bottom of the 3rd inning 7-4. Montreat would respond with runs of their own to tie things back up. In the top of the 7th Stephanie Blevins singled advancing Katie Dinger to 2nd but was called out at 3rd but was still able to score Ariel Holt to retake the lead 8-7. The Lady Lions take game 1 of the series. 

For game 2, Montreat scored in the bottom of the 5th inning to take a 1-0 lead going into the top of the 6th inning. Bryan responded with Stephanie Blevins reaching 1st on a fielding error that advanced Katie Dinger to 3rd and scored Cali Green to tie things up. In the top of the 9th inning Ariel Holt doubled advancing Carli LaRocque to 3rd and scored Haley Stahl. Cali Green hit a sac-fly to center field and was able to score Carli LaRocque to give the Lions a 2 run lead going into the bottom half of the inning. Bryan takes down Montreat 3-1 and takes the series with a sweep.

• Aubree Presley went 1 for 4 with 1 run and 2 RBIs.
• Ariel Holt went 2 for 2 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
