Dayton, TN -  The Bryan College Softball team took on University of the Cumberlands on Saturday afternoon. Cumberlands scored first in the top of the first inning to go up 2-0 over the Lions early in the game. Bryan would respond with a single by Haley Stahl that scored Stephanie Blevins. Cumberlands would score in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to take a 9-1 lead and take game 1 of the series. 

For game 2, Bryan scored first in the bottom of the fourth inning. Carli LaRocque reached first on an error that advanced Ariel Holt to third and scored Lily Taylor. Jade Richards singled and scored LaRocque and Holt to go up 3-0 over the Patriots.  Cumberlands would respond in the sixth and seventh inning to take the lead and win the second game 6-3.

• Ariel Holt went 2 for 2. 
• Stephanie Blevins went 1 for 3 with 1 run.

• Jade Richards went 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs.
• Carli LaRocque was responsible for 1 run and 1 RBI. 

NEXT TIME OUT

• Bryan will be back in action to take on Columbia College on Thursday March 16th at 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
