Lebanon, TNÂ - The Bryan College Baseball team took on Cumberland University on the road in Lebanon, TN.
Bass Cooper got the Lions their first runs of the day with a 2-run home run scoring
Bryson Lofton in the top of the second inning.
Owen Napieralski reached first on a fielding error advancing to second ultimately scoring
Bradley Prince. The Phoenix respond in the second inning tying things up at 3. In the top of the fourth inning Napieralski singled up the middle to advance
Keeko Garcia to second,
Daniel Dryden to third, and scoring
Parker Cosby. Bryan led going into bottom of the fourth 4-3. Cumberland would respond with more runs of their own going ahead 5-4.
Bryson Lofton singled in the top of the sixth inning bringing
Parker Cosby home to score and advance
Daniel Dryden to third to tie things up again at 6. Cumberland would respond yet again in the bottom of the seventh and in the eighth inning to push the final score to 9-5.
