Kingsport, TN - The Bryan College Women's Basketball teamed traveled up to Kingsport, TN to take on TWU in the AAC Conference tournament semifinal. The Lady Lions and TWU kept it even through the first quarter of play only scoring 12 points each. TWU took control of the game in the second quarter outscoring the Lady Lions 12-8. The Bulldogs led at halftime 24-20. The Lady Lions trailed in the third quarter and tried to rally their way back into the game after the Bulldogs took a 10 point lead with 4:43 left to play in the third quarter. The Lions are able to cut the lead at the end of the third and trail going into the fourth quarter 42-38. Bryan continues to climb back into the game in the fourth quarter and outscore the Bulldogs 21-12.
Samantha Russell hit a 3 pointer with 39 seconds left to take the lead. Bryan pulls through and wins a narrow one against TWU. Bryan takes down TWU in a hard fought defensive battle 59-54 to secure their spot in the AAC Championship game on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM.

- Destiny Kassner recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds along with 3 steals and 1 assist.
