Lake Wales, FL -  The Bryan College Softball team traveled down to Lake Wales, FL to take on Warner University in a doubleheader on Friday. For game one of the doubleheader Bryan was unable to find their footing. They fall to Warner 8-0. 

For game two, Warner was first on the board scoring 1 run in the first inning, 4 in the second inning, 1 in the third inning, and 1 in the fourth. Warner took down the Lions 7-2. Bryan was able to get on the board in the 3rd inning with a sac fly from Haley Stahl that scored Keeley Hickman. Denver Hogrefe singled in the fifth inning advancing Katie Dinger who was thrown out at home but scored Keeley Hickman for a second time. Despite the fight from the Lions they were unable to cut the lead and pull it out.

• Cali Green takes the loss for Bryan for game one.

• Keeley Hickman was 2 for 3 with 2 runs.
• Katie Dinger was 2 for 4 for game 2. 

NEXT TIME OUT

• Bryan will be back in action in Lake Wales, FL to take on Southeastern University in a doubleheader starting at 12:00 PM.
