DAYTON, TN - It was all Bryan when Columbia College visited Summer's on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Lions put up 33 first quarter points versus the Koalas and continued to pour it on throughout winning 106-46.

Senior Samantha Russell would put down three first quarter triples on her way to 18 total points. Junior Torie Brooks would match Russell with three 3-pointers of her own in the first. Brooks would end the game as the team leader in points with 22 respectively.

When asked what allowed her team to put up so many on the offensive end Russell said: "It was easy to get going on the offensive end when we're getting our defense right first." This has been a theme throughout the season for head women's coach Gabe Johnson.

It would be more of the same in the second half for the Lady Lions. Freshman Autumn Davis is one of those players who really adds to the defensive end. Although she only came away with one steal in the box score, Davis' activity and relentless effort continues to shine off the bench. Davis ended with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

With such a large lead, Coach Johnson emptied the bench to begin the fourth quarter. Many Lady Lions would continue to add to the already substantial lead to this point. Senior Taylor Meeks added a pair of triples ending 2-2 from deep and finishing with six points. Both Senior Megan Easterday and Freshman Karley Gentry knocked down a jump shot late in the fourth.

With the win Bryan College lands at 4-0 in the AAC and 4-1 overall. Columbia College moves to 2-3 in the AAC and 3-3 overall.
