Dayton, TN - Bryan College Men's Soccer wrapped up their 2023 regular season in a Senior Day match up against the Montreat College Cavaliers. The game ended in an exciting 2-2 draw, putting Bryan as the #7 seed headed into the AAC Conference tournament. 

In the early going, it was all Montreat as they scored first at the 5:21 mark in the 1st half. The Lions then gave up another early goal as Montreat struck again in the 12th minute to go up 2-0 on the Lions. Bryan held up defensively the rest of the half and Montreat took the 2-0 lead into half time. 

The 2nd half was a different story as Bryan's Owen Morales scored early at 47:40 to close the gap 2-1. Bryan continued their aggression pushing out a 13-4 shot attempt advantage in the 2nd half alone. As the clock ticked down it was a James Mitchell 88th minute goal that hit the back of the net giving the Lions a 2-2 draw final score. The Lions finish the regular season at 8-7-2 overall and 7-4-2 in conference.

The AAC conference tournament begins for Bryan as they head to Barbourville, KY to play 14th ranked Union College (Ky.) Friday November 3rd in a time to be announced. The Lions took a draw last time at Union back on Oct. 11th. Click here for AAC Conference bracket.
